Of course it was nice that you...What a GREAT post!! Of course it was nice that you could celebrate the birthdays together. And your daughters thoughtful gift to give you a visit to your hometown was so so very thoughtful. I wish my hometown was still the same after all these years. Somehow the richies in Chicago found my little beach town (Michigan City) and you would never recognize it now. Casino boat on the creek, lake front that you have to pay to visit...sad. I'd rather visit my birthplace...Chicago. Downtown still looks the same there!!

Terry enjoys that "I'm a little tired today" feeling and I am always reminding him that he doesn't have to do one darned thing except sit in his recliner and look pretty, so he does! ~lol~ He COULD use a haircut. I'm taking him to lunch today which is my pretense for visiting Joann Fabric and Hobby Lobby. Would you call that manipulating? ~lol~ It is!

Have a great day and rest up for the family's visit. Keep your chin up during this holiday season. It's 20 degrees here...brrrrr.
xx, CarolCarol- Beads and Birdshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11062821517519300477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2307328535462685153.post-90075345944905470252014-11-19T20:39:04.670-06:002014-11-19T20:39:04.670-06:00Lovely family and photos. The "mansion"...Lovely family and photos. The "mansion" looks wonderful. At our age we can do anything we want and if we don't want to do it we don't have to. Home is best though.http://thankfullga447https://www.blogger.com/profile/09752118265182467689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2307328535462685153.post-25336367905165497452014-11-19T20:05:40.136-06:002014-11-19T20:05:40.136-06:00Family time is always the best and returning to yo...Family time is always the best and returning to your old home town must have been exciting. I probably wouldn't recognize anything other than my old house if I returned. All those empty streets were pretty amazing ... never happen here. The vintage location with stuff to admire was well selected. I wonder if my younger siblings know me that well.Julie Fukudahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15704374750710761269noreply@blogger.com
