Tonight I wanted to post something that had nothing to do with Christmas, the New Year, eating, presents, or the usual things we talk about this time of year. I wanted to just show something restful and not do a lot of talking. So......here are two collages I made week before last at the downtown studio. All I'm going to say about them is they were fun, didn't take a lifetime to make, were made from an assortment of paper napkins, some paint and two pieces leftover from our backyard fence. They were great fun to do and for some reason - ended up blue with a touch of green.....an unusual color combo from me, as my faves are red, pink, and green. I find them restful. Do you? (No, I didn't say 'boring'...I said restful.) Hope you enjoy seeing them and I'll see you later in the week....and I hope you get some well-deserved rest before the next busy weekend holiday coming up! stay warm, safe and cozy...pat

hi Pat they are beautiful and there is something I would think "tranquil" about them maybe "peaceful" like sitting in the middle of a beautiful rose garden admiring its beauty....thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous and would look wonderful in my master bath!
ReplyDeleteI love the subject and the colors, Pat! The colors are so cool and green is my favorite color and mixed with the cool blues...just lovely. Using the fence was perfect. I love your work whether its a quilt or collage or...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blues and serenity to enjoy. Gentle week to you...
